We stock spare parts, spare servers and other pieces of networking equipment that you can either rent, at a daily rate, or buy at replacement cost.
We'll come to your site and, if necessary, work after hours, at weekends or through the night to get you back in business
 
We're here, 40 miles north of London but there's no set limit to how far we're prepared to travel.

This is when a real person will answer the phone and when we're regularly checking email.

Outside of these times you might get lucky but don't expect a response between midnight and 07.30am.

During our operating hours your call can still go to VoiceMail (maybe we're out-of-range, on another call, or any of the other reasons calls to mobile phones fail).

We normally hear VoiceMail messages within an hour, but why not wait 5 minutes then try a second call?

If your problem is clear cut and we know we've got the resources to fix it we'll give you a guarantee:-

We'll get your network operational or only charge our travelling expenses.
   
Our charges include working up to 12 hrs at your site. If the job is going to take longer, we'll have to negotiate the charge.    
If we sell you any spare parts or other pieces of equipment we'll only charge you the replacement cost.  

We define replacement cost as the the price, including VAT and delivery, of the nearest equivalent item currently on sale at www.dabs.com/uk

If you're located more than 2 hrs' travelling time away from us we'll probably want you to pay our travelling expenses in advance by debit or creditcard.    
If we need to rent you some equipment then:-

The first week's rental is free

Servers cost £15/day

You may have to pay the cost of shipping the equipment back to us

We may charge a security deposit.

   
We include 30 days' of phone, email, and remote access support following our visit    

Things that We Can't Do

If your Internet access has failed due to a problem with a BT circuit or your ISP, this isn't in our power to fix. We can setup temporary Internet access using a standard phone line.    
If your network failure has resulted in the loss of data for which there is no backup we can't magic your data back.    
     

Special Considerations for Working Out-of-Hours

When we need to work at your location outside normal business hours you'll probably want to have one of your employees stay with us as a  "chaperone".

It's up to you, but if you don't you'll need to organise things so that we can leave your building and get back in without setting off the alarm, access all rooms that contain network equipment and computers and have the phone number of someone we can call, at any time, if we need some information.
